This doesn't even scratch the surface of the decorations. We all dressed the part too....
Last year, Matthew got to come. As a boy, he'll never be invited ever again. ;-) Kate got to join this year, and while it'll be a long time until she's invited again, she can look forward to Girls Weekend 2025! It was lots of fun bringing her with me. Sure, she didn't sleep well, but who needs to take naps with all these fun ladies around? (Including her cousin Sadie, who's just 2 months older! Fun!) Besides, despite being sleepy for most of the trip, she was actually a champ and pretty dang well behaved. Go Kate.
We shopped, laughed, did mani/pedi's, ate and ate and ate, and went to the Revlon Run.
Apparently Kate was more interested in sunbathing at this point rather than taking any more pictures.
The weekend flew by! It's always nice to have so much girl time.
And Michael and Matthew??? They basically had a man party while we were gone. This was the longest I've been away from Matthew but Michael sent me picture texts letting me know that Matthew was not only totally fine, but basically having the time of his life.
I wondered if maybe Matthew wouldn't be that happy to see me and Kate since he got to totally live it up with Michael for a few days and didn't have to deal with the schedule of a 3-month old, but luckily he clapped when he saw me and even gave me a monster hug! (He is definitely not usually affectionate). :-)
Until Girls Weekend 2014!
